Sunday Hugs

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."  (John 3:16-17)

Notice...God sent His son to the world.  That is everyone.  Also, He did not come to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.  We need to understand just why Jesus came.  He came for the world that we might all have life and have life more abundantly.  He did not come to make our lives hum-drum and lifeless.  He came to give us life, to give us joy, to give us peace and to give us a life filled with happiness.  We are not suppose to mope around and act as though we have lost our best friend once we know Jesus.  He gives us life, and that life is eternal.  Many times I need to look at what I have and not at what I don't have.  Thank you Jesus!!!
