Hugs for a Thriving Thursday!
Good Morning my dear friends! Momma Carmen will be back soon and I know we have all missed her around here.
I have enjoyed my daily hugs and devotions. I surely appreciate God placing YOU in my path today as I continue to thrive in HIM this Thursday!
"An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up"Proverbs 12:25
I have been thinking alot about kindness and ways to spread it and in reality it's as simple as a kind word. It only takes a little bit to make a difference. We think it takes a great thing to make a dent in life. God delights in taking something rather small, anointing it and blessing it to become a great thing.
Today go out and smile at someone and say something kind.. as the person reacts notice how great that is and how you want to spread that and share it with someone else.
Move on from saying something kind to thriving even more; give someone a cup of coffee or buy them a bottle of water; buy someone's lunch yes, a complete and total stranger (just because God loves them and you) offer to wash a neighbor's car; offer to wash the windows of an elderly neighbor or take out their trash to the road.
God's love is life changing!
There are so many simple things in life you can do to serve.. and yes, it can be small.. begin today with that kind word!
