Dried Fruit, yes or no?

I picked up some trail mix while i was at Target for lunch today. It was called "a handful of everything" and it didnt lie. It had banana chips in it is why i got it. But wheni looked at the nutrition for the whole thing i thought it was crazy. I only really like banana chips but i tried a piece of the dried mango and it was pure sugar. So, i picked out the almonds, a few cashews, the banana pieces, and a few yogurt covered peanuts. Did i make a bad choice? probably, but atleast i didnt eat the chocoloate morsels or all the sugary fruits. I use to love dried pineapple but i didnt dare try it today.
Ive lost 8lbs so far and want to keep it up but my question is...Is dried fruit a yes or no? Would it be an "ok" occassional snack? I think i know my answer but i wanted other peoples opinion.

Thanks :)

I would say OK as an occasional snack....but you're right, there's alot of sugar in them.  Maybe the best choice would be almonds?  Target has all sorts of flavors - our new fav is wasabi & soy sauce, YUM.  They also have dill pickle cashews - good too.
