Saturday hugs

All too often, I have looked back.  Once I do that, I become a statue, a fixed figure, something that can be of no good to anyone.  All I am good for is to look at, which really may not be all that great either.  I am not good to help anyone or anything.  Often, I catch myself looking back to days of obesity and other situations.  I have held on to things that are painful.  We need to stop looking back and look forward to what the Lord has in store for us.  That way, we can be of help to others.  They do not want to hear our poor pitiful me stories, but yet something to uplift them.  Most of the time, my poor pitiful me stories are stories of the past.  My prayer is that I look to the future and leave the past where it belongs...in the past.   

Hugs back to you this cold morning...for one more minute...oops now its afternoon!  But, it's still cold!! What was your low this morning?  It was 17 down here on the coast. BRRRRRRRR!!!

I catch myself doing the same thing...looking back at the past. I am working on it.  That is where most of our or at least my 'issues' come from, so I am working on letting go of them...and moving forward so that is my prayer too!  Thanks for another GREAT HUG and SCRIPTURE COMBO!!!  Love you...hugs

I think our low was around 13 or 14.  It is still very cold with the wind here.  It is 34, but the wind makes it feel much colder.  Y'all stay warm Connie.  I love ya!!!!

I looked for the "like" button but forgot that was on the "other" site.   It has been a while since I have visited. 

I know Nanci....I like the 'Like" button, also.  It is great to see you over here again.  We need everyone to get back over here once in a while and lend a hand to us.  We all need each other's support and you are doing so well.  You are a great source of support, also.  Love ya!!!
