Snowing.....

It is not staying on the ground, but where I am in Texas it is snowing and sleeting and raining.  It is cold with a high wind.   The wind is what makes it so cold.  The temperature is dropping and it is getting colder by the minute.  Sure am glad that all our Christmas packages were delivered yesterday.

I LOVE SNOW!

We have two inches on the ground and it is coming a hard freeze..so we will have snow and ice for Christmas.  We had to cancel some visits we intended to do tonight, but we will get to do it later in the afternoon tomorrow. 

The police are all angry tonight because they cannot find anyone to work and they are having to pull extra shifts because of the bad weather.  They have had to close the main street through town because of the dangerous driving conditions.  YOU can imagine how ticked the law enforcement are when they really would like to be home with their families and not out getting drunks off the ice.

Not quite enough to make snow angels or snow men....need a little more for that.  It is just enough to cover the dirty leaves and sticks...but it is white.  And it does glisten.  It makes everything so quiet...it really is a Silent NIght.
