Post-Op Care???

i had lapband surgery on june 2, 2009 in huntsville al with dr zaria murrell (wonderful dr!!). i had my 1st adjustment in september. shortly after, she closed her practice and moved to ohio.
i can't find a bariatric surgeon anywhere to handle my follow-up care. even the dr she said would take her patients is being 'selective' and isn't sure he'll take new patients or  how long it will be before he does. i haven't lost any weight since early november, and need another adjustment. were any of you dr murrell's patients? has anyone found follow-up care with another surgeon?

i used dr facundus.  he has a god complex but hes a great dr. trust him with my life over and over again.  have you tried his office?  256-880-6039.  best of luck to you!

thanks for the info! yes, my family dr has called everyone. most drs won't take on another dr's work. i was notified by my former dr that dr mailapur in h'ville would take all of her patients, but this is not the case. i am sending my medical records and required paperwork for his review. i pray that i have good news (and $200!) soon! this lapband doesn't do much without adjustments. still, i am grateful for the 40 pounds i have lost, and believe God will send my solution soon!
i am in florence alabama. are you anywhere near there?

/UPDATE 4/17/2010: I AM IN TOUCH WITH DR MURRELL, AND SHE HAS AGREED TO SPEAK WITH ANOTHER BARIATRIC SURGEON ABOUT DOING MY AFTERCARE LAPBAND ADJUSTMENTS. I AM THRILLED! THANK YOU DR MURRELL!!!
