Friends and Flowers
Our true friends stick with us and understand when we are insecure, depressed, or lonely. But they also rejoice with us when we are happy, excited, and have good fortune. Some people can be better foul weather friends and some fair weather friends, but the true friends stick around...don't crowd too closely ...and are there no matter what direction the weather takes. Friends don't have to talk to one another all the time, but can pick up the conversation from the last time they saw the person, whether it is hours, days, years or decades.
I like what this poem says. It is describes the kind of friends that I think I have and I hope the kind of friend that I am.
