Food is so good

After six weeks of throwing up and not getting much more that three teaspoons of food down.. Food tastes so good. I can now get in about 6 to 8 oz a day. plus one protein drink and some water. I still throw up at least once a day but its not as bad as it was. I guess I am just getting use to it. I am not as fearful that helps too. tonight I had six baby spoons of sugar free ice cream... its was such a small amount not even two table spoons but it was very enjoyable. I hope it stays down I just finished it and so far I am not running to the sink. LOL. I guess that is dumping syndrome? I throw up immediately when something isn't going down well.?! anyway hope everyone is well and getting ready for thanksgiving. I wanted to go out but I got voted down! looks like I will have 10 people... all the kids and mom and hopefully one friend.

You are doing great!  Work hard to get in your water and your protein!!!    You will know when you have dumping syndrome - it is every symptom of a heart attack.  You will think you are going to die and vow NEVER to eat the "bad" stuff again.  In a few months you WILL try again!!!

So great to see you posting and doing much better!
Yes, food will be different from now on. You will realize before most everything surrounded food. Now food is NOT the focus. It's more about the family and friends.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I am going to Birmingham for the Christmas get together.
I know that Mobile usually has a Christmas party/get together. I will check with Connie (Teal Rose) and Sandy (Sweet Bama). If they are having one then our group will go over as always.
I will also check with my members here and we will either do a Christmas party or maybe another New Years get together/sleep over/Julie's Birthday party!
Any reason to celebrate and get to be with my OH family!

Hi Julie,

I do not lead the support group anymore.  Lee and Sandy are in charge now.  Lee is going to send an e-mail out when she knows.  Aren't you still on the list?  I passed it on a couple of years ago.  If you're not on th elist.  Send it to Sandy and she will get you back on the e-mail list.

Christ's peace,
