Cristy is right, Louise.  I use the large cans.  You can always amend the amount of cornbread, etc to make it work.  It should be a soupy but not runny consistency!

This sounds delish! I went to buy the turnip greens today and the only ones I saw  were seasoned, don't usually eat greens, so I am wondering if this is the right kind? They were the Old Glory brand.
Also has anyone ever made a half one ?
Thanks!!

Old Glory is THE brand to use.  I have indeed made a half recipe - works well!

John I am making my cornbread now to make this for tomorrow.  I will let you know what my family thinks of this casserole.  As for me I do not eat greens in any form or fashion.
