Sunday Hugs
Sending out hugs on this awesome Sunday morning!!!! You all have a great day today!!!! I love y'all so much!!!
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. (1 John 3:1)
The definition of lavish is to profusely bestow. In other words, God loves us more than we could ever know. We are called His children once we accept Him as Lord and Savior. When we have a child, we totally emmerse that child with our love. We hold him and coddle him and give him everything he needs. We would never allow anything or anyone to harm our child. That is how it is with God, but on a much larger scale. He loves us so much that He sent His son to die for us. Once we accept that, the world does not know us. We are set apart, separate and they do find us rather peculiar. But you know what...that is alright because they also found Jesus a bit different. Many of them did not want to be His friend, either. I thank God that "He loved me just the way I was, but loved me too much to leave me there."
