Hello everyone, Life being a mom is just awesome.  Baby Zayne is growing like a weed.  She is now 5 months old and has 2 teeth @ bottom.  My husband has been laid off and is now the stay @ home dad.  i almost envy him getting to stay @ home all day with Zayne.

My question is : can i  put protein shake mix in HOT coffee?

God Bless, Nessa

Hi Vanessa.  I guess all the protein drinkers have gone to bed for the night.  I never have been able to drink the shakes.  I wish I could have aquired a taste for them.  I am not really sure about your question but it seems to me I have read that you can't heat protein powder.  Maybe you will get an answer in the morning.
I know you are loving every moment with that baby girl.  I am sorry your hubby was laid off.  But look on the bright side, you don't have to leave that sweet baby with a sitter.  Good to see you tonight.  Have a great weekend!!!

Hi Vanessa--I use a chocolate protein shake powder that I mix with hot coffee, SF syrup, creamer--etc.  It foams up when you blend it like a latte and is delicious!

I have always heard that heating protein causes it to break down but I'm not sure about that because we cook meat. Right? However, I do know it's more difficult to mix it in hot liquid. I use to mix it with cold coffee and make a Frappuccino out of it. I use either creamer, or 1/2 a scoop of low carb ice cream, coffee, ice, protein, and SF coffee syrup (chocolate is a good choice) and have tossed in half a banana - it makes a wonderful shake and is very filling. You name it and I have mixed it with protein powder- some good, some less good, and some went down the drain.

Hey there my beautiful friend!!!!!  It is so good to hear from you.  I was just talking about you yesterday.  I bet that baby is getting big and I bet she is just gorgeous.  I don't know the answer to your question, but I know someone will.  BTW...my baby girl, Geni, is gonna have a baby...probably early July.  Please keep her in your prayers.  If you are around the office and have time, stop by and let me see that baby...well I would love to give you a hug too LOL.  Love you!!!!

Congratulations on Zayne.  There are pictures somewhere, right?  (I'm a baby freak .. haha)

Click protein is made to mix with ho****er and is a mocha flavored protein. In the summer, I drink it cold and in the winter, it is like a cuppa cocoa.  :-)   www.click.com

Take care,
