Wonderful day at Tannehill State Park
I know the weather is cool and brisk, but it was gorgeous today, so Kyle, Jill, Clint, Christian and I went on a hike, took a picnic and looked at all the beautiful Halloween and Fall decorations at the campsites. Seven years ago, this would have only been a DREAM. I walked and walked and walked and never gasped once for breath. WLS has been the most amazing thing in my life. As old as I am and I am even keeping up with my 2 year old grandson....(most days) ha ha! I am loving life. I enjoy every minute that I am able to get out and GO GO GO! No more sitting around feeling sorry for myself.
I am having to have rotator cuff surgery on Wednesday of this coming week. This is a re-do. I supposedly had rotator cuff surgery done 18 months ago, but new findings have shown that I indeed have not ever had anything done to my rotator cuff and only the bone spurs were removed. I now have further damage that needs to be repaired. I AM NOT going to let this keep me down. I am STILL going to get up and GO GO GO. I will STILL keep my grandson. I WILL INDEED overcome this horrific surgery and all the painful therapy that is to follow. Ya'll please keep me in your prayers along with my family. We are really going to need all your prayers. This will be my right shoulder and I am right handed, so this will limit me greatly. I appreciate you all being here for me. I love you all and may God continue to bless each and every one of you in a very special way.
If you would like to see our pictures from today's outting, you may see them on my Facebook. I posted several of them there. Here's one of my favorites:
