Long time no talk!
How is everyone?
I wanted to stop in and say hello and see what is up with all...
Me... I am doing well. Pissed at myself for putting on 15 pounds. I am up around 213- 218 depending on the day. But, I also know I am rebounding. BUT, I am in month 4 of going to the gym 4-6 days a week. I must admit, 2 years ago I never would have been able to do this... Last week I set my personal best, 5 miles in 37:41. I am also hitting the weights 3-4 times a week, and I am seeing results finally, as are other people! lol Someone at work hasn't seen me in a while told me I was looking ripped... LOL I was like, um No.. but thanks...
I don't think I have really talked to ANYONE from here in MONTHS... So, who is going to give me the skinny???

Hi Chris. It's so good to see and hear from you. It's so quiet around here these days. Seems most everyone has gone to Facebook. I miss everyone here. Don't get me wrong, I love FB too, but I miss my OH peeps and family. Sounds like you've got your plan going on. I need to get my plan going on too. I've gained a few pounds since school started back and I'm just mad at myself too. I've got to get back on the train and do something about it too, before it gets outta hand. It's a rollercoaster of a ride isn't it? But I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love my life. Please keep us updated and again, it's so good to hear from you.

Looking good, as always!! I am proud of you for hitting the gym. Wish I could get motivated to work out...but I have always hated it!! I have gained about 7# in the past few months, but that's from being too "social"...need to learn to drink water when out with friends!!
I still look at this board, but basically I am on Facebook most of the time.

(((Chris)))) Hey!!! So great to see you posting! I haven't been on as much as I need to be guilty! I am on Facebook alot though.
How is Heather? Have you spoken to her lately? She's been on my mind.
I've put on some weight too and I am going to start jogging again. I use to jog all the time when I was younger. I was a cross country runner. I miss it. I could think/pray so much during that time. Just peaceful enjoyable time. I know people think RUNNING? peaceful ? enjoyable? Yeah, I think so.. I like to run it by myself. I lived in the country here I would love to go to the State Park and run out. Gotta watch for gators but I can do it! lol
I want to get dedicated and get into a gym routine and would love to have a gym partner. Someone to go with me and hold me accountable. Maybe I will meet someone AT the gym! lol
We have a rec center for residents of our city so I am going to start using it.
Congrats on the 37:41. Next, you'll be in your trialthon!!! WOOOHOOO!!! :)

Have you considered part of this weight gain may be muscle and not fat? Muscle weighs so much more than fat and can be discouraging while dieting and working out because you dont know how much is fat and how much is muscle unless you keep up with the Body fat. If you need a url I can get you one.
