It's not the end of the world but I sure hate it. Most of ya'll know that I am plumb silly over my cats Frank, Amos and Teddy. About two months ago Frank got out of the house(he is four and never been outside) never to be seen again. Well, today I had to take poor little Teddy and have him put to sleep.  It just broke my heart. He was mentally challenged(yes, cats can be. It's a disease that the momma has and passes on to the kittens before they are born) He had a thyroid problem and his heart  was giving out. He was suffering and I couldn't let it continue. So the only cat I have left is Amos. Now that is not a hint for ya'll to send me a cat. I'm not going to get another one for a while. I'm going to see how Amos adjust to being an only child. If he does well I may just keep it at one. But all of ya'll are so good about asking about my babies I had to let you know what was going on. Take care. Love, Miss Mary

Miss Mary, I am so sorry about the loss of your cat. I will keep you in my prayers. Maybe Amos will like being the only one to get your attention, now. Who knows.  Take care and God Bless              Linda

Oh Mary,  I am so sorry.  My heart goes out to you.

Life is too short to eat vanilla ice cream and dance with boring men.

Dear Mary,
so sorry to hear about your loss. a pet is a very important part of the family. my life includes three dogs.. I love them very much. I have one with cancer and she is 12 yrs old. she has been such a great friend and a good dog. nothing can replace the ones that are no longer with us, but someday a new love with come along. in the past I would say go and get a big box of your favorite snax  and eat your blues away....But NOW... I say walk it off... LOL  Have a Blessed day

Hey Miss Mary,

I feel your loss and know it is a hard thing to lose a pet. They are a part of our family and the love they give is a wonder to me. I would not want my little Sydney to be in pain or suffering. We had a little poodle once, Ginger, and I had to take her to the vet to be put to sleep. I was so glad that they let me stay right there with her and rub her tummy as she went to sleep. Its such a hard thing and yet the most compassionate thing we can do for our furbabies.

Amos will probably grieve but hopefully he will turn all of his attention to you and you can give him yours.

I'm thinking about you!! And Amos!!

Love,

Miss Mary,

I am so sorry to hear this.  To lose a pet is painful and devestating.  It's been more than a year since we lost our SU-SU and he is still thought of daily!

They are so much a part of us.......

Blessings,

Lisa
