Sending out hugs to you all on this awesome Thursday morning.  I can barely stand myself this morning.  We will be leaving in a few hours to go to Hixson, TN.  I am going to get me a Word from the Lord, but I have an extra added treat.  I am going to get to meet a very special friend whom I have spoken with many times, but never met.   This is going to be a great great few days in the Lord.  You all have an awesome day today!!! I love y'all!!!

When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.  But since they could see the man who had been healed standing there with them, there was nothing they could say. So they ordered them to withdraw from the Sanhedrin and then conferred together. (Acts 4:13-15)

I love this!!!!  Peter and John were disciples of Christ.    Peter and John were not schooled and I imagine that by their vocabulary, the others could tell they had not been.  When the Sadducees saw and heard these men, they realized that they had been with Christ.  Also, another clue was the fact that a man had been healed in their presence.  These teachers and rulers were very well schooled.  They had had the finest educations imaginable. (I am not speaking badly about education.  I believe we should attain as much as possible.)  However, they saw something much greater than an education in these two men.  They realized that they had been with Jesus.  They locked them up, but later could not come up with a reason to keep them.  These men were so bold and Christ shone through them.   I often question myself whether or not Christ is shining through me.   Am I like Peter and John or more like the Sadducees who had a great education, but did not shine for Christ.  I pray that I am as Peter and John.  Christ...shine through me!!!!

I've met him several times. I've been to his concerts; his family concerts and seen him preach at churches. His whole family is awesome!! They take the time to come out and speak to you.
I became a fan when I was so sick seeing Crabb Family on TBN.
He is great! I saw where he was in your neck of the woods a few weeks ago.
He likes to hunt so maybe he took the time to hit the Alabama woods! lol

The Message is good.  I have many translations, but my favorite still remains the NIV.  John just bought me my Christmas present.  I am beginning to have a hard time reading...old eyes LOL.  He got me a Thompson Chain large print NIV.  I have had a KJ NIV for years that I love, but my eyes won't let me read small print hardly.  I was so excited when I got that.  Anyway....yep..I am loving this.  Oh I wish everyone was here.  I love you!!!
