SAD SAD SAD
It is very sad indeed. I have found that if it WLS related you will not get a response. And I am as guilty as the next for not posting a reply. We need to get the board back to weight loss. I know when I posted about the walk most of the time I would not get one response. I think we have lost the true meaning of what we are here for.
I don'tknow how it used to be--but you are right--there seems to be very little activity now!
Wonder why?

Maybe Facebook and Twitter are one reason. I am not a part of either one. It gets me so upset to see grown men and women here in the office that cannot leave their phone 2 seconds because they might miss a comment someone makes. I joined Facebook for about 2 hours and I found myself so caught up in it till I couldn't even get my work done in the office. That made me a thief and thankfully I realized what was happening. Now not everyone is that caught up but it really is a shame that most don't have time for the Board and the other. It is great to find long lost friends and I really do see some benefits but not to the extent that you cut everything else off.
Iris, I have no idea why you left the Alabama Board but I do miss you. I cannot come as often as I'd like but that's because I do not have access to a computer at home and so if I get online it has to be done here at the office before my work day starts or else during my breaks.
Well, I didn't mean to rave and I sure don't mean to offend anyone. And believe me, I know that this is just my own personal opinion which doesn't mean anything to anyone but myself. I love all of you and I miss the connection we used to have. Many times we've brought this up before and we say we want to change but how can 3 or 4 people make a difference. It's going to take a group effort.
I'm willing to do my part. Can anyone on this thread reach out to those that are on Facebook and tell them that they are needed here. Even if its just one short post in the mornings or afternoons. Somebody please let them know we miss them and need them.
Love,
DebbieDoo

I must say I was shocked when I came in here the other day and saw three days worth of posts on one page.
I will admit that I am not likely to post a lot nor will I likely reply to posts where people need WLS wisdom. My BMI is greater than 35 so the support I can offer in that area is very limited. I'm not negative but it is challenging (to say the least) to be an upbeat encourager at this point in my journey.
