Wednesday hugs
Sending out big hugs on this chilly and gorgeous Wednesday morning. You all please remember our "family" members who are sick, having surgeries and recovering. Just a few are Loretta, having eye surgery today; Maxie Johnson, recovering from being hospitalized; Lucy Culpepper, recovering from surgery, Dixie B., hurting and in P.T. today; Julie and Gerry Lee Campbell, swine flu, pneumonia and also pray that Jake and Teddy remain well; and there are so many more. We need to seriously extend prayers and love to all who are hurting, sick and unemployed. There are so many. I love you all!!! For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. (1 Peter 1:18-19)
Jesus forgive us. He never holds a grudge or puts up a wall to forgiving our sins. He totally erases our sinful pasts. He alone has the full power to forgive and forget. He never condemns us for our failures. Just the contrary, when we fail, He picks us up, dusts us off, and helps us to move forward in our lives. He teaches us important lessons from our mistakes so that we can experience strength and wholeness.
