Oh NO!!!

My summer is over.  It is back to work for me today.  I am going to miss my hubby so much.  I know it sounds crazy but we could spend 24/7 together.  We never get tired of being together and it is going to be hard to go back today.

I will check the boards off and on today so I need to hear from you today.  Our shout out has been pretty slim these last few days.  If you lurk please take just one second and let us know you are hear.  We NEED to hear from you.

Praying for you my friend!  Can ya believe schools are starting to prepare to open?  So quickly our summers fly by.  Pray for me as I begin my journey to become an Elementary School Teacher, or at least get the degree!  LOL  I know this is part of my Ministry as I will use teaching in my Ministry.  I have always felt that I will work in a school for Children at a church.  Just didn't know how.  Only letting God have HIS way!!

Good morning pal!!  Time is passing by so fast I have a hard time keeping up!!

I am so proud of you claiming your dream.  If I were not so old I would go back to school.  I would teach also.  But retirement is getting close enough now for me to catch a glimpse of it and I am looking forward to it.  I still have about 7 years to work so it is not right around the corner but is in distant view.

 I am usually in the background lurking although I post some.  I don't post too much, because no one answers much.  That is probably the way it is--I notice on the other boards only the "controversial" post have a lot of participation.  I read those boards sometimes--it is kind of like a soap opera.  This is the board I like though.  It has really kind people who seem to care about each other, and you can ask for prayer--and just know it will happen.

BTW someone even as computer illiterate as I am, has started a blog.  I did it to see if I could--and because it is fun.  The URL is in my signature.

You all have a blessed day.  I am sorry your vacations are coming to an end.  My prayer is that someday my permanent vacation will come to an end and I will get to go to work again.  Never thought I would say that after thirty-five years in manufacturing--but it gets in your blood and you miss it when it is gone.

Someday if I can afford it I will get something other than this B.S. Degree in Organizational management and maybe I can teach part time or something. Sorry to have gone on so long.

Just a quick note to say Hi!! I had a dr's appt this morning .While I'm getting off some of my meds, sems like he is adding more to them. He put me on magnesium, Vitamin D, and iron but did get to cut down from 40 to 20 mg Micardis, so that part was good. I had lost 4 lbs from last Wed (15th) to today (21), making a total of 48 lbs now. I hope I can start seeing what everyone else seems to be seeing, but to me I don't look any thinner. I guess once you get so big it takes a lot of loosing to feel it. I can move around a little better though, told my ortho doc the more I walk the worse the ankle feels, but he just told me it will be better on my ankle when weight comes off, I will still have to wear the leg brace and foor will still be misshapen but beter to have a foot than what they had originally told me that  they would probably have to amputate it. Told them that wasn't an option in my book.     Take care, didn't mean to ramble on. Enjoy what time you have left before startting back to work.                              Linda Mason

Ah it's back to work for you! Why is it the more time you have off the harder it is to go back. The GOOD thing is that you have a short week!
I missed the shout out yesterday, everytime I came to OH my laptop locked up. What was up with that??? I could get into everything else and I see others were getting into OH.
Oh well, I'm here today and thats what counts!
