Cell Phone Plans...???
Are any of you "Long Term" subscribers to T-Mobile
cell phone service?
I have had my service through them for roughly 10 years and have basically been pleased except for a few bumps in the road here and there. (And what provider does not have those bumps?)
Anyway--recently I received a "customer loyalty" offer from them that others may find appealing as well....
UNLIMITED local and long distance calling with no roaming charges for $49.99 a month. It was only a couple dollars more than what I was already paying and
while I rarely (maybe twice ever) go over on my mintues, it is a great insurance policy so to speak.
No way I can ever go over on my minutes now!
The representative said, I could talk 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year and still not go over on my minutes with this plan.
It think the minimum length of service to obtain this plan is 22 months???
May be something some of you may want to look into.

I switched to Verizon about 2 years ago. I had been with t-mobile 6 years and loved them..
until they sent me a phone via UPS; well I sent it back via UPS same box; ect.
Just sent it right back. And they charged me for it. It was the week of Christmas and I fought with them until April. I was not rude or ugly yet yelled at by one customer service rep who told Me I had the phone. Others told me they could do searches GPS and could find the phone active no where. At the time I was on TPN and I assure you the UPS man remember me dragging myself to the door and sending the phone back.
So when my contract was up I was gone. All for poor customer service.
I loved the service they even gave us free service during the hurricane.
I told them I was paying for the phone but I would be leaving and if they wanted me to leave that was fine.. so I did.
Anyway.. enjoy your plan. Just thought I'd tell you my experience with the company.
Verizon isn't as good as T-Mobile sometimes but they all have flaws I'm sure.
I barely used 800 minutes on all 5 of our lines combined this month because we have that call free to Verizon and then we have the pick 10 - well the pick 10 has dropped our minute usage down to almost nothing.
Have a great weekend!!!

Wow..that is a lot of texting! I pay something like
$4.99 for 400 text messages a month and don't ever go over on that....but for you, the unlimited texting sounds like a good idea!
I guess going with the unlimited plan is a little "insurance policy" for me, while costing me very little extra money. I will probably get rid of my home phone soon as well.
It is a good thing that there are a lot of different plans and a lot of different carriers. It allows us all to choose what works best for us!
By the way--do you have a phone with the QWERTY keyboard? I am thinking about getting on of those but have not heard many people comment on them yet? Any ideas?

I have sprint as well, and will never switch at this point! I love love LOVE my sprint I travel a lot and have service every where. My husband and I share 800 minutes a month and never use them all because everyone I know is on sprint as well, or nextel. I text prob 1,000 texts a month and would be in big trouble if it werent for my free texting. I know lots of people I work with have t-mobile but none of them ever have service at my house.. I guess what works for some doesnt for others! Im glad your enjoying your Tmobile!

I have had t-mobile forever it seems. I love it also. This sounds like something I might need to look in to. The should be giving me a good offer soon, as my contract is almost over. I am hoping for a great deal on a Blackberry.
