Say Thank You for everyone that has had my parents in their thoughts & prayers as they went through a horrible experience last week with the tornado that ripped through their community....Alot of you all asked me about it at the reunion Saturday, how they were, ect.. thank you~ thank you for asking...

As an update: the Insurance adjuster came out to their property yesterday  again and states that it's in his thoughts that they will have to have their house rebuilt from ground up...but he is getting in contact with Montgomery office to have an engineer to come out.... We don't know what it's like to go through such as horrible thing as they have until it happens to you or your loved ones...

I know the lord has opened my eyes... I have a change of heart for anyone that becomes a vitim of a tornado.. I will be there to help them as much as I can...

Charlotte...they are in my prayers.  Also...you really need to change your avatar.  You are beautiful.  Not saying that your avatar isn't, but you look much different.  You take care!!!

So glad to hear that things are moving along fairly quickly for them.  I can only imagine what they (and the rest of your family) are going thru.  You're right - the Lord tends to use various situations to open our eyes....I only pray that I'm available to learn from whatever situation I'm put in.

Unfortunately we come from a community that has first-hand knowledge of the tragedies that are caused by tornados. My husband lost his best friend in a tornado that struck our town a month before we moved here.

Sending good thoughts that everything will work out quickly for your parents. Glad to hear they were unhurt.

I haven't been on the boards as I regularly am; I apologize for missing this.
I know how a natural disaster can throw your life up in such a mess and how hard it is to rebuild and begin again.
I am praying for your parents and all those who have been victims to these tornados.

Charlotte,  I am continuing to pray for your parents and for you.  Lucy and i both will.  I've gone through 2 house fires and I know it isn't the same, but in a way, it is.  My heart goes out to your parents.  God bless!
