I'm Home!

YAY!  It's been a tough week so far, but I am on the mend now.  I was having some discomfort for several days and Monday night it just escalatated (sp) rapidly and so I ended up in the ER and having surgery first thing Tuesday morning. 

I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. I am feeling a whole lot better now that I am home.  And a special thanks to Julie for keeping everyone posted and to Kristi for coming up and sitting with me (while I slept...lol) when Bert couldn't be there.

I am actually feeling so well I would go back to work tomorrow if my Doctor would let me, but he says no.  Maybe Monday...maybe next Thursday.(I see him again on Wednesday for a followup).  I am pushing to go back to work on Monday though.

Again thanks for all the thoughts and prayers....it was definitely appreciated.

Glad you're home and doing better! Don't rush back to work, it'll be there when you get back to it. Rest and relax while you can.

I am SO glad to see you are home!!  We have been praying for you.  It was my pleasure to FINALLY get to meet you Saturday!  You need an UPDATED pic!  I didn't know you!  LOL  You take it easy and REST!  God bless my friend!

Even after losing 108 lbs, I still shy away from the camera.  But, I will make an effort to get an updated picture posted soon.  It was great meeting you too.

I'm off wor****il next Thursday and am on spring break from school now, so I have plenty of time to mend.
