I'll be spending the day with my granddaughter doing whatever she wants to do.  She's still a little young to comprehend any Easter traditions...religious or otherwise, but we will be observing regardless.

Actually, I had Easter celebration with my class tonight.  We had a little pot luck during clinic and it was great fun.  We have Brazilian Beans and Rice, fruit platter with assorted dips, veggie platter with assorted dips, spicy minisausage, Greek Salad, Easter Egg Cake, Petit Fours, Mexican Layered Dip, and Pasta Salad.  The food was excellent and varied.  As usual, we had a great time sharing with each other.

I have no idea what I am going to do on Easter Sunday.  It will depend on how I feel.  While I am pretty much able to stay at work for a full day now, the doctor has told me that I still need to rest as much as possible.  I still have a hacking cough and get tired easily.  This has been a really tough cold, flu or whatever it has been.  However, I am getting better slowly.

I usually prepare a ham steak, mashed potatoes, brocolli, and a salad.  This Sunday, I most likely will still have a little bit of the fruit, Easter Egg cake and some petit fours left over to have for dessert.

Hug likes to eat Peeps, so I am sure that I will give her a few of those.  We have both the chicks and the rabbits.  She just likes either one.  My uncle from Texas may be visiting, but that is not certain yet.

Then take a nap! no little kids around here to hide or hunt eggs with. Have a great day Ellen

We will go to church and then probably out to eat with mom and other family members.  In the past I always cooked a big lunch for everyone but this year we'll let someone else do the cooking.  We always have ham, tator salad, peas and a fruit salad.  We'll have to see what Mary B's is serving Sunday.

I hope my SIL will get up and come to church.  My daughter and the grandkids will be there and it would be nice for them to have daddy with them.

Elle, I'm at a loss for Easter. I don't have a church since I've moved to AL (may check out one that is having their Easter service at the civic center) and then I have to work, so I have to get up at 4:30pm, latest. My Sweetheart will be working and well, it's just weird to go to his parents house by myself, plus I'll have to get a nap before reporting to work (12-13 hr shift). It's too far to go to my parents, so I just do not know what I'll do. Any ideas???? LOL
I hope yours is great, though!
