We will go to church of course and then I will cook up some Easter Lunch.  I can't decide between turkey or ham.  What will you  have.  I know we will have baked beans, tater salad and  stuffed eggs....always gotta have those eggs.  I'm going to dye some eggs with Christian this weekend too. My Spring Break begins promptly at 3:15 on Friday afternoon and  I cannot wait.  I am so looking forward to having an entire week off.

What kind of things do you do for Easter?  What kinds of foods to you prepare?  Any tradition you follow? Please share.  I'd love to hear from all of you.

If I can I'm going to go to sunrise service at my church, Its at 6:30.We have church services at 11 then lunch. I hope I'm able to go. I always love watching the sun come up on Easter morning.
Of course, a lot depends on how I feel. My surgery is in the morning and I should be able to drive the half mile to church Sunday.
I wish I had a little one to dye eggs for. Love, Miss Mary

As a church music director, you can well imagine my Easter Sunday is packed!  My church, First Presbyterian Church Livingston, AL, is hosting the community SONrise Service.  The men of my choir will sing two anthems at this service.  The church is then holding a breakfast for all.  (I have to make 2 breakfast casseroles.)  Then I dash out 15 miles to Coatopa, AL and play the 9:30am service at Brewersville United Methodist Church.  After that it's back to First Presbyterian for the 11:00am service.  That's the big one for my choir.  I also get to play the organ as loud as I want on this Sunday! If you can't blow it out on Easter, when can you?  After that it's back home to Biscuit where we will have a nice ham, sweet potatoes and green bean lunch.  Then, the recliner and a LONG nap!!!

Let's see.. we have sunrise service at 6:15 with some breakfast afterwards.. then home to get gussied up and back at church at 10 for sunday school and 11 am services. We're having Easter dinner with friends from church so I'm bringing sweet potatoes, chicken and dressing, and a dessert.. maybe Dr.Pepper cake but who knows.

After all of that and the Easter Egg hunts I'm off to bed for a nap! We're excited about the services at church  - we put out new signs and I need to work on a video.
