Does anyone happen to have the recipie using a block of cream cheese and splenda to make a finger food type dessert?
Thanks a bunch.

I have one for fudge.  Would that do?

2 blocks of reduced fat cream cheese, softened
3 oz. unsweetened baker's chocolate, melted
1 cup splenda
1 tbsp. vanilla
dash salt
1/2 cup walnuts or pecans (optional)

Cream splenda and cheese together.  Blend in melted chocolate, vanilla, and salt.  Fold in nuts.  Put in foil lined and buttered 8 or 9 inch cake pan.  Chill at least 4 hours. Cut into squared.

Hey Kay, Yes! I forgot about this one, it will be great to make for Easter, or to have around for snack attacks, lol

There is another one that calls for making balls out of the cream cheese, rolling them in splenda and then freezing, or something like that, but I can't remember the specifics.
Thanks for reminding me of the sf fudge.

How is your daughter doing?

Oh yeah!  I've seen that one somewhere.  I think you can different flavors and nuts and roll them in the splenda and freeze.  I think I would have to put some splenda IN the cream cheese too!  Just play around with it and you'll probably come up with something good.

Tara is doing great, thanks for asking.  She had to have her gall bladder out last month, but other than that, no worries.  She's out on a date tonight (a lot of that going on now! LOL!).  She's handling herself well though and being very careful with the boy thing.

It's good to see you!

By the way, at my house, the fudge recipe is called "crack".  We make it every week!

That is funny, crack, at least its sf crack, lol.

I had my gb out when I had wls, so I avoided that second surgery, but its not that bad really, not like it used to be, from what I hear. I am glad she is doing good, and being careful with the boy thing, very, very important.

I think I will make the sf fudge for Easter dessert and maybe if I come up with a good flavor do the other too.
Thanks again!

Jan, for Scott's reception I put a block of cream cheese on a plate and put pepper jelly over it.  I served it with crackers.  The jelly I used was raspberry pepper jelly but you could use sugar free or low sugar and fat free cream cheese.  Everyone wanted to know how I did it.  If they only knew how easy that one dish was!!

Debbie, thanks for sharing that, I will have to try it. I am going to Walmart today, I'll see what kind of sf jellies they have.
Have a great day.
