We sure did. I have a BIG BIG BIG day tomorrow and sure could use your prayers. I, at some point tomorrow while in B'ham, plan on going by to check in on OUR Vicky. Lets all remember to pray for her. She is going to do great!! I AM SO PROUD FOR HER! See! Persistence pays off!

Our Pastor announced yesterday he is leaving to go to Montgomery. Going to be the right hand man of the one over the State (Methodist). I know it's a great opportunity for him but I love him so.
You get close to your Pastor especially after a long term illness. While I am happy for him and his beautiful wife, Minta I will miss them so. He teaches our Wednesday night class as well.
He isn't leaving until July, but it sure caught me off guard.
So that's how my Sunday went.
I know God has already prepared a great Pastor to come to our church!
And Easter Sunday we are going to do the contemporary worship in our new fellowship hall space each Sunday. So that is another big change. It has a nice stage but it's not the same as the sanctuary. I don't know why they are making that change. But I guess we are moving in a different direction. We have so much space now. And hopefully soon our coffee shop will be open to the public.

I missed going to church yesterday. We got up and dressed and I got sick. Leo wouldn't let me go to church and it was the right thing. I was miserable. It seems that everytime I eat now I get sick for about an hour and then I'll be fine. Not sure what's up with that but hopefully it will pass soon.
I wish I could go see our Vickie. She spreads so much sunshine around, doesn't she?
