I'm back
I just got home a little while ago. I had to make a pot of coffee before I came to the board.
I'm doing great. I'm not in any pain. I know I've been cut on but not hurting.
I had a growth on my thyroid. They removed the growth and half my thyroid. I had the growth scanned 6 months ago and it was 5 cm They can't tell me how big it was but he said it was hugh. Well over 20 cm He had to draw 2 syringes of fluid off before they could take it out. It had grown behind my breastbone. I'm feeling just fine. Not much of a voice but they are hopeful that will take care of itself over time. It will take a few days for all the test results to come back in. I can't think of anything I need. Shannon wanted to stay at the hospital last night but I wouldn't let him. I just walked the halls and drank coffee all night. Their coffee was okay but I wouldn't want a steady diet of it. He has gone to the drug store to have a pain med filled. He's wasting his time and my money because I won't need it. I'm sending him home after he gets back. I feel as good as I did before I had surgery. I'm breathing a lot better so that should increase my energy level in a few days. Doc told me to take it easy for a few days. So I will.
