Amazes Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so dang mad right now that I could spit nails. Some one who has shall remain nameless has complained again about the posting of the reunion. Why  OH allows the crap that they pull is beyond me. For all of you that want to know any more info please go to our facebook page and look for the info. I for one will not put up with the bull **** that goes on with OH and will start posting the info on facebook. I will let the trouble maker and the pot stirrer have OH, maybe they can be happy.  My post from yesterday was pulled and i was asked not to post the subject anymore.

could you pm me the facebook link? i haven't been on facebook in ages... i'll have to see if i can find my login info, lol! or have it sent to me.

PM me your email and I will send you a friend request. That way you can join the one that is was started by some from the bama board. If you don't add them as your friend you never have to see their them.

I go to Facebook more than OH anyway. Do you know *****ported it? Or was it just moderated off?

I guess it doesn't matter.

Everyone who goes to the "thing that must not be posted" event will have a good time anyway. Lots of great people with lots of good food and lots of fun company!

I fully understand, Louise.  It is a shame that they will allow people to come on this site and talk filthy and disrupt the site but will not allow us to post about support group happenings, which is what the reunion is, pure and simple.  They pull mine about the cruise, but I understand that...I do not understand why they pulled the reunion.  This is horrible.  I am so disheartened with OH.  It was not like this in the past.  It has become a site for those wishing to stir up trouble.  That is what I am seeing more and more.  I love facebook and they don't care what you put there as long as it is decent. 

OH is NOT the same place it was intended for.  I think everyone should email Eric Klein and complain.  This is getting ridiculous. I think you can reach him at  [email protected]

I find myself along with most everyone else over on FACEBOOK!  What a shame we've had to resort to other methods of support.

I ALSO am on FACEBOOK much, much, much more than on OH anymore b/c of all of the moderation.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it. 

Hey Bama Members!

 We wanted to let you know that there are two groups that provide information about this particular event.

 Michelle runs a wonderful support group and has some information listed there. http://www.obesityhelp.com/group/MicheleLuv/

 Then Louise has a group called Alabama Bariatric Support, with the information posted. http://www.obesityhelp.com/groupalabamabariatricsupport/
 
With a group, you can come together to discuss the details of the event, the owner can email all members at once with announcements or any communications. There is a discussion board which is a great place to talk about any events, share good times and make plans for another event.  There's also an area to upload photos so all of the members can share in each other's photos. Group invitations to join can also be sent out. The board is moderated by the owner of the group, not us. The group is an opportunity to keep the good times going with your own mini OH.

Additionally, Carmen was extended an invitation last year to have a group as well to serve as a place for cruise information, her group is http://www.obesityhelp.com/group/losersrwinners/  If she would like to continue with that and get it activated, we are more than happy to assist with that. 

We are not trying to stifle the wonderful support here.  Instead we are giving appropriate places to post all the great information year after year to those that want to be included in it.  We also recommend the group owner to write up a little snippet with the link to their group and place it in their signature line, such us “For information on the next reunion, click here, to join Alabama Bariatric Support"
