Friday Coffee Talk
Good Friday morning everyone! Time to get up and get going. The weekend is HERE! Just a few more hours. Got big plans?
Our challenge for today is to love thy neighbor as thyself. WHAT? You mean I have to love "that" person. Yep! You sure do. No matter what they have done to you, we must love. You may not like someone, but you sure have to love them. Why? Love covers a multitude of wrongs. Love makes YOU feel good. Love is the key to turn things around. So no matter what, LOVE! You will be glad you did! I promise.
So, who's up this morning? What cha sippin' on? Me? I'm enjoying an awesome cup of Maxwell House regular blend and about to go enjoy the next cup on the front porch. I don't have to take Allison to school since she got her license. Sure does feel good too. I gave her my Kia and you know she is one happy chick. Now, what does daddy ride? I'm a thumbin'.
Oh well, at least I can sit and enjoy my coffee on the porch. Wanna join me? I'll be here!

I will have to tell Teddy this challenge today. He gets mad at one of our neighbor's because they have 2 assigned parking spaces and they use 1 of ours; sometimes 2!

I've let him drive it with me in it and that's enough; he's still learning though.
I am enjoying my coffee getting settled in for a great day at work today.
And tommorrow a better one ($5 incentive day per hour!!).
I love my job!
I have my caraffee filled to the top with coffee and I will keep it coming!

Happy Friday to everyone! Great challenge today and one that is hard to do but so rewarding when you can!!
No coffee yet for me. I'm about to head out for radiation and I'm always so afraid I might have to go to the potty if I drink before I get there. So....I hold off until 10:00. It's so hard to do!!!
Well, on top of this blasted cancer I am now suffering from a kidney stone AGAIN!!! It's very small and my doctor wants me to try to pass it on my own unless the pain gets too bad. So far it only hurts now and then so I'll keep drinking and walking. My doctor suggested I drink a couple of beers to really get my kidneys working but couldn't you just see that??? I'm dingy enough without alcohol in my system. Leo is going to see if he can find some unalcoholic beer. Is there such a thing? Beats me!!
So I feel real good today and what a blessing that is. I get so excited when I have a good day!!! Leo and I will be heading to the camper after work and what a beautiful weekend to be on the river. We're gonna have a ball.
I left Leo sitting on the front porch, swinging and sipping coffee. Man, that was a hard scene to leave. I'd love to have a day off during the week but I better just be thankful I have a job!!

Good Friday morning! I am supposed to be off work today but I got called in...already back home. We have AnnaBelle and are taking her to New Orleans for the weekend to spend some time with my dad and stepmom while they are down here from Myrtle Beach. We're gonna act like tourists...lol.
Easy challenge today. I got nothing but love for my neighbors. Having said that, one of them doesn't like us...she's not feeling the love for reasons we do not know. She's a very cold, bitter person and doesn't seem to like anyone. But I got nothing against her. I just wish she would lighten up a little and see that her neighbors aren't all that bad...I don't think so anyhow. (it's not just us...).
I'm sippin on some cappuccino and loving it this morning. It sure is good. I bet Allison is in heaven now that she's got "wheels".

Good Afternoon Randall, You are such a sweet Dad. Your Children are very Blessed to have you, as you are to have them. I have so missed your coffee talk, and the wonderful people of the Bama Board. You have a wonderful weekend my friend, and drink another cup of coffee while enjoying your front porch.
