Hi Julie,
Dh has to report NLT July 15, so it'll be dead of summer. LOL  I love the Blue Angels, I saw them here last Oct. I'm actually looking forward to the change/move. Now we just have to find a place to live.

Welcome to Alabama!  I live in Prattville, which is 10 miles north of Montgomery.  I work for the Military Department out at Gunter AF Station in Montgomery.  Maybe we can get together and I'll show you around when you get here.

Wooohooo, That would be GREAT! DH will be stationed at Gunter. We've decided to live in base housing, so we'll be living on Gunter too! I can see that I will be welcomed with open arms and for that I am greateful to each and everyone of you!!! .....Are you in the AF or civilian? If you are Civilian maybe you can help me to get a job on base.

I will keep in touch!
Thanks so much!

My job is actually a State job, working for the Military Department.  The state is always testing for different positions.  Although there is a hiring freeze in most departments right now, I do know that some departments are still able to hire.  I'm not sure about the federal jobs.  Don't really know what they are doing right now.  But...I will help you check things out when you get here.  Also...you can go the the State Personnel web site they have the different positions out there.  They test some of them on a monthly basis.
