Hi Everyone. I was nominated and voted for Treasurer of the support group here in Jackson, MS. As Treasurer, not only am I in charge of the money, but also for bringing door prizes to our monthly meetings. Everyone has a chance to buy a raffle ticket for $1.00. Do any of your support groups meetings have door prizes? If so, what kind of prizes do y'all have? if not, then does anyone have any ideas on what I could do? I want to be creative and have nice prizes without breaking the bank.

Also, we are thinking about having a few appetitzers at each meeting. WLS friendly recipes. The meeting is for post-ops but also for pre-ops that came to get more information about the do's and don't before and after surgery. Any good recipes that are simple, I would love to have.
