Valentine's is coming up.......

What will you do for your special somesome???  Any special plans for Valentine's Day?   I think Kyle and I are going to shoot for saving up a few dollars and going out for a steak or maybe we'll just cook one at home.  Everyone has been talking about steak on here and I'm craving one.  I've also got him a new book he wanted.  I can probably think of a few other things he'd like.

We dont ever do anything.  But im thinking my husband needs to help me write a check for my plastics.  That would be a great gift.

I head out on my cruise on Valentines Day!  YAY!  Only 2 1/2 weeks to go, then it's my turn to cruise.  I wish I could say my husband was cruising with me, but he doesn't like cruising so I am going with my sister and her two kids.  At least he will be there to see us off though.  He's driving us to the port in Mobile...YAY I don't even have to drive far!

I love steak!  We usually have steak on Sunday nights.  I know I eat too much red meat, but I just love my steak.  Have you tried Longhorns?  It's a tad pricey but oh my is it ever good.

My hubby & I are going down to Gulfport, MS for Valentine's weekend...gonna enjoy some Mardi Gras parades, and visiting with friends.  I'll get to have some great gumbo, play a few slots, and do something other than work for a few days!!! 
I have no idea as to what to get him for a gift, tho...I need help there!!

ps - I like Stacy's idea of a check for plastics, too, lol.

I like Texas Roadhouse but I agree with Sandi that Longhorn's has a great steak as well, but my favorite place to eat steak is at my house.  It is much cheaper.  I can get the more expensive cut in my kitchen for the price of the less expensive cuts in restaurant.

I love me some Texas Roadhouse too.. So since Valentine's Day is on a Saturday and Texas Roadhouse is out of town, we may just have to make it a date for us to go there.   It will have been 18 years ago on Feb. 14th that my DH asked me to marry him.  Really don't know what to get him though...

Why don't you fix a steak at home. Set a beautiful table using your best china, crystal and candles.Watch a movie at home and relax. Valentines Day is on Saturday this year so  there will be a long lines at the resturants. Hope you enjoy your Valentines Day. Love, Miss Mary

Very nice ideal Miss Mary,,only one thing.. with 2 kiddos being 13 years old & 5 years old.. won't be too romantic with them fussing & all.  Will be more relaxing for us to go out without them and have grandparents to watch them for a bit.
