I'm cooking smoked Keibalsa sausage, spanish rice and corn of the cob a long with a garden salad.  I think that should do it.  Trying to come up with a few new things to cook.  I won these sausages at a grand opening for a new grocery store in our area along with an entire bag of other groceries. I was TOO THRILLED!.  Can't wait to try them.

So, what will you be having for dinner tonight???

I'm cooking steaks.
They came in my angel food box this weekend - when I got my box.
If those of you who are budgeting like me - then check out angelfoodministries.com
There you can find the nearest location and what's on the menu for the upcoming month.
I get a week of dinner for a family of four for $30!!! Which isn't bad and there are no income requirements. My church is a pickup location so it works out really great!

Congrats on winning your sausage!! Free is always yummy! Lol

I've always wanted to try angelfoodmisistries, but at the time I was checking into it no one in our area was doing it.  I do believe there may be a couple of places now, but have failed to contact them yet.  Ohhhhh, how I long for a good steak.

We are thinking along the same lines, Elle. I'm having grilled Conecuh sausage, some kind of pasta and fried okra. Sabotaging the rules of the pouch on a daily basis, LOL! Fat, carbs and greasy fried things...guess I shouldn't have grown up in the South. Oh well! At least it's somewhat balanced (maybe it's only balanced in my own twisted mind)
