Dr. Hedden for Plastics?!?

Hey ya'll, I have not been on this board before but I am a regular on the LW forum. I had bypass on 08/08/08 and have gone from 244 to 159 so far. I am planning on having plastic surgery to repair my triplet belly and possibly my arms. I wanted to know if any of ya'll have used Dr. William Hedden in B'ham or know anyone who has? He seems very helpfull from my initial emails to him and I look forward to working with him or another ps soon... If you have any other suggestions besides him in AL I would greatly appreciate that as well. I live in Montgomery and am trying to keep the travel under 2hrs for "comfort" reasons...    I used him last march for breast implants..  ( and i don't care who knows it)
 he was a great surgeon and the facility was great. and the nurses and staff were awesome also.

Thanks so much. I was very impressed that he personally responds to all the question emails his office recieves and is very thorough. I know you had implants rather than excess skin removal.... but did he seem pretty experienced with working with people who needed tt and other weight/baby related procedures  (if you know)?

It would be more than two hours for you, but I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Michael Yates in Huntsville. I can not say enough good things about him and the quality of his work.

Kim, wait until you are a out at least before doing PS. I did mine earlier and it was difficult plus the mortality rate is higher for those who do PS less than a year after WLS (which I didn't know when I did mine). Best of luck in locating someone you trust!

It cut of your time but I'm assuming you where going for a year out. I plan on waiting til this fall when its much cooler and more "comfortable" and I will also be over a year out... My weight-loss should be done in a couple months and then I will just maintain for about 6. Thanks, Kim

just wanted to let you know I went to Bham and Dr. Paul Sauer was my PS
I can't even express how wonderful He and his staff were.
and very down to earth , I had a full Abdominalplasty
what wonders he Magical Disappeared from my saggy Body

I have a couple of friends who have used him for a little nip and tuck and some facial work.  He has received rave reviews from them.
