Today is my last chemo treatment. Thank you God!!!! What a journey this has been but I know that God is going to use this for His Glory! My next step is radiation for 12 weeks. One nurse said every day but I'm hoping she meant one every week.
I just have to tell you all that your prayers have made a huge difference. I've had a great attitude and the pain and weakness have been durable and helped to slow me down some. God has been able to speak and me listen for a change. Looking back over the past several months, I can see where God has His hand on me and I can loudly boast that He has been my all in all. Sure I've had bad days but He was right there with me. I know it could have been so much worse. I've talked to too many people who have suffered horribly. Medicine has come a long way but chemo still has a lot further to go before anyone can say it isn't bad anymore. I have a new found empathy for anyone going through it no matter how light the dosage.
Anyway, I'm proud to say that I've missed very little work and even had about 2 weeks sick time left last year that I got paid for. That was nice!!
This is our busiest season. We'll go non-stop until the end of July. I ask that you pray that my strength will hold out and that I won't let anyone down during these next few months. Come April I should be through with all treatments. I'll be so happy to have HAIR again!! My poor eyes have no eyelashes and no eyebrows. I look puny even with make-up. And forget fake eyelashes. I looked like I had two black eyes.
I hope you have a great cruise and can't wait till Leo and I can go on one. He wants to go to Alaska one day. We'll see.
I love you guys so much. You have been a great source of faith and strength. Friends are so important and every one of you are an inspiration to me.
Back to my coffee and work now.
Blessings,
DebbieDoo

I am praying for you.
YOU have been such an inspiration and a voice as GOD has used you for HIS GLORY!
I can personally speak for I know that GOD has used you to help reach my Grandmother and your testimony as she is undergoing chemo and has had a rough time. She is back in the hospital with dehydration and did not get chemo this week because of being dehydrated.
I tell her things you post - and how you don't let that red devil get you to give in. GOD gets you up and keeps you up! AMEN!!
I love you!! Thank you for sharing your posts, your life and your friendship with me.
