Let's talk about nausea....

This is a double post from the main forum...

OK...
My stats...
Roughly 17 months out, lost 150 pounds, have been +/- 5 pounds the last 4 months.

About 3 months I stated having issues with nausea. I mean, it would just hit me out of no where like a freight train but as quick as it came it would be gone. Lately (not in about 10 days) but lately I would say 1 in 4 times I had food in front of me I would get that feeling, and it was before I even put a fork in my mouth. I would have to push my food away for about 5 minutes then it would pass.

Anyone deal with this? Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Are you pregnant?  Oh, I am teasing. You live about five minutes from me so you can come thump me upside the head.

Seriously, I know the nausea feeling and I did not have RNY, I had LapBand. I do have migraines and sometimes I get the nausea feeling your are talking about, esp. when weather moves into the area.  My doctor says it is migraine equivilents and nausea is the primary suspect.  He also said that people who have have lost a large amount of weight loss notice different internal changes that they did not have before.  Just a thought.
Also, do you have blood sugar issues? I know low blood sugar can make people nausea too.

Hope you can find something to help. It is a horrible feeling.

Hey Chis.  I have this nausea problem too.  I actually throw up.  Mine occurs after I eat sometimes and it isn't because I OVER eat.  Sometimes the nausea happens before I eat too.  I have no idea what is going on but I sure do not like it at all.  Hope you get better with it.  Mine just recently started and I am 4 1/2 years out.
