Please pray for my GRANDSON
He's been very sick and been staying with us all week. My Daddy and husband took him to Urgent Care yesterday morning. He has no insurance so the bill was quite expensive for the doctor's visit and meds. He is one sick baby. Between myself, Kyle and my Daddy, we are taking care of him while Holly and Beau work. Please keep my precious baby boy in your prayers. I just feel so bad for him. He's such an angel.
Thanks again oh and please just keep our ENTIRE family in your prayers at this time. God knows the needs.....
Love and hugs,
Elle

Elle,
Here's hoping that Christian is feeling much better soon. It is not fun when children are sick and they just can't understand why the feel like they do.
Have you looked at the possiblilty of ALL KIDS insurance for him. It is provided through Blue Cross and is, from what I have heard, VERY REASONABLY priced. I have a friend who has this insurance for her child and I think her ANNUAL premium for him is only $65.00. That is much less than even one visit to a doctor would likely be and it covers well. I belive her office visit copay is $5.00 and most of his prescriptions are covered with a $2.00 copay. This plan also provides for his dental and vision coverage. It would be worth looking into and seeing if he could be covered by this plan.
Here is a link that will provide you with information and eligibility guidelines.

It can not hurt to look into it and see what options are available. Working in the Health Care field, I see just how expensive health care is and how quickly those bills mount up--especally if you don't have insurance to cover a portion of the cost.
Good luck and again, I hope Christian is on to road to a quick recovery. He is lucky to have grandparents who care so very much for him.

Elle,
Sorry this is so late.
Haven't check the board in so long due to work, Fish's surgery, Aiden and his health, etc.
But know that I am praying with you that baby christen is doing better today!
When my Aiden bug is sick, I am a nervous wreck.
It still amazes me than when Samantha and Robert were sick I did what a momma was suppose to do...but when that little man is sick, I go nuts and scream at his momma that's she's not doing all she is suppose to do!.
Isn't it just amazing how as a NaNa things are so different?
Fish says I am way more protective as a NaNa than as a momma! What's up with that?
And my kids remind me often that I am a over protective mom.
When a storm comes up now I start calling them to make sure they are safe and in no harms way and they are 30 and 24 years old.
So know that you are in my thoughts!
