Miss Mary!! Help!! Major problem here

Miss Mary to look at my cake,it looks so good,like I said the outside of the cake is delicious,but when you slice the thing it is soooo gooie,reminds me of a custard,it was beautiful while it was baking,you reckon the cake mix could have been bad,i looked to see if it was expired,it wasnt tho,the icing was duncan hines coconut,pecan a new carton..anyways im gonna try again.I baked a seven-up pound cake last week,perfect,couldnt have been better,im like you I take pride in my cakes.Trial and error thats what life is all about..I will get it right..Hugs Juju

No Miss Mary,I will do it again,please dont make one less you have someone to give it to..Imm sorry but as soon as I get back from Huntsville I will make another,,I did something wrong..Debbies turned out so its what I did..I measured something wrong cause it was way to thin  when i was folding in the icing..Thanks but I will keep trying til i get it wright..Juju(beisesifdebbiecandothisiknowican)

I am wondering about the recipe now. I've got an appointment in Albertsville this morning but when i get back I'm going to make another one. Don't worry about it going to waste, I can always find somebody to take my baking, even if it turns out less than perfect(althought I did make a perfect cake, I believe it was July of 1999. I wouldn't cut it and eat it because it looked perfect. I kept it until it turned green with mold then threw it away, But I believe it was a perfect cake, well art anyway) I'll post when I take it out of the oven. Love, Miss Mary
