Friday Coffee Talk

Good Friday morning.  Can you say BRRRR!!  I hope you slept good, and warm.  It is cold this morning.  Good morning for a good hot cup of coffee.

Our challenge for today is to realize that the miracles in your life every day.  I think about the plane crash on the Hudson River.  They are calling it "Miracle On The Hudson".  So many miracles happened in that one crash.  But, You are a miracle yourself!  Every day you have a miracle that takes place in your life.  We wake up every day.  We breathe every day.  We have a nice home and are warm every day.  We have food to eat every day.  We have loved ones in our lives.  We should be thankful for the miracles in our lives every day.  We take things for granted.  Today, let us be mindful of the miracles in our lives.  WLS is a miracle that has been afforded us in that we are healthier today than we were.  I thank God for weight loss surgery!  What a miracle!  I am so thankful for EVERY miracle that takes place in my life.  YES!  Miracles DO still happen today!

So, who's up?  What cha sippin' on?  Me?  I'm enjoying some awesome Hazelnut coffee this morning and it sure doe**** the spot.

oh goodness it is to cold for me. My hands are numb and I hate that. I have chicken on and will make some homemade noodles in a little bit so we have a nice hot supper ready. (of course my child will come by for a big pot full to take home) guess I should make a dessert for him too.

What a great challenge!  I do realize the miracles in my life and I thank God for them EVERY day!  I was coming home from work last Tuesday in all that heavy rain and a lady ran thru an intersection and t-boned me at 50 mph.  Her windows were fogged up and she never saw me until the impact.  Both airbags deployed, I hit a telephone pole and my head hit the drivers side window and it knocked me out.  Next thing I knew, I had a bunch of folks standing outside my car screaming, "Lady are you alright?"  I remember thinking, "I don't know.  Am I?"  That accident happened SO quick!  I still have some memory loss.  In a matter of seconds, my car was totalled.  I was so devastated.  My second car accident  in 9 months except this time it totalled my car.  God has already blessed me with another car and better than the one I had and all with no money out of my pocket!  I'm off wor****il February 2nd to do intense physical therapy and try to get better. I have a fractured sternum and a really bad case of whiplash.  I got some major brusing on my upper and lower body and legs I think from the seat belt.   I thank God for MY miracle that I'm still alive...it could of been ALOT worse.  His angels were there to protect me.  Miracles DO still happen!

I'm up this morning trying to work out this stiffness.  I'm sippin' on some awesome Maxwell House.  MMmmmm....good to the last drop and really warms my tummy on this bone chillin' morning!  Brrrrr...it's 8 degrees here in Huntsville with a windchill of -3!  Whatever you do, bundle up in layers if you MUST go out today....otherwise, stay inside and drink coffee all day!  HAHAHA  Love ya brother!

Oh Vicky, I am so glad you are okay.  You really do have a miracle to testify about.  I hope you continue to improve each and every day.

Oh my goodness Vicky!  I'm so glad you're okay!  I hate that happened to you though.  Take care of yourself and give yourself that time to heal.

Good morning Randall!!!!!  We ARE all miracles.  I often think about how a tree is created from a tiny seed or acorn.  How a baby is created...wow....that is amazing.  How the oxygen is supplied for us to breath.  This is not all just coincidence.  IT IS GOD!!!!  He is amazing!!!!  There are miracles all around us if we take the time to see them.  Thank you for reminding me of this today.  I am having me a mix of Caramel Creme and Maxwell House.  It is warm LOL.  Have a great great day!!! I love ya!!!

Good Morning!  I am soooo glad its Friday...even if its a blamy cold Friday.  At least tomorrow morning I can stay bundled up in my blankets a bit longer.  Tonight's gonna be even colder so be prepared.  My husband is finally coming back from his business trip tonight, but won't be in until really late. 

I love the challenge today.  Everyday that we have is a true miracle.  And Vicky...thank GOD your weren't hurt any worse than you were.  You must have angels watching over you.

I had me a small cup of Community Coffee and it was delicious!  Just one cup did the trick.  I may make me some hot tea here shortly just to warm up a bit more.
