What a day. We are having a supper at our church tonight. Just soup, sandwich, and desserts.
But ours is a small church and it's for the North Alabama Emmaus Walk so we will have between 100-125 for supper. I've got my chicken/'butter pea stew ready. Got my northern beans and all the onions, carrots, celery, and ham ready to assemble. I'll not fix the O'Charleys potato soup until I get home off the bus route, I don't much care for it reheated. My son has carried off all my big crock pots and hasn't thought to bring them back. I guess he will when he gets hungry.
I've got no bake oatmeal cookies ready. An Inside/Outside cake is ready to come out of the oven and several Impossible Coconut Pies are ready to go in the oven.
When I finish the bus route I'll make a batch of broccoli cornbread and a batch of mexican bread. I'm also going to fix peanut butter and jelly  sandwichs and a few banana sandwiches(If I have any mayonaise)
I'm a terrible cook and it really takes concentration to not burn everything. Wouldn't it be funny if the supper was called off. I wouldn't have to coo****il March. Not to worry, I've already got a list of people to carry the leftovers to.
The worst thing is all my favorite shows come on on Tuesday night. Two weeks ago I was at the funeral home, last Tuesday night I was at the funeral home, tonight I'll be at church for the supper and next Tuesday night I have a meeting I have to go to. Oh, well when I watch reruns they will all be new to me.
Lets get back to the kitchen. Love Miss Mary

Miss Mary made and baked the

food. Then she said, "Who will eat

this food?"

"Oh! I will," said the Vickie

"And I will," said the Cat.

"And I will," said Michele.

"No, No!" said Miss Mary "I

will do that." And she did.
