Promotion

That's right folks!  That's the reason I haven't been on allot anymore.  I've been working extra hard to get this promotion I've been wanting.  I am no longer "the cook"  or " head cook" or "assistant" ...........I am the KITCHEN MANAGER.  I went to the Administrator with a 2 week menu and she never batted an eye, while reading my menu.  All she said when finished reading was...."well if you are going to make the menus this good you may as well be the KITCHEN MANAGER"  I almost passed out!  I never imagined that, I was only wanting to add some new stuff to the same ole, same ole menu that our residents were complaining about daily!  This promotion also came with a $1.50 raise...PRAISE THE LORD!

All I can say is GOD IS GOOD!

Congratulations Susan as I am sure that you have worked hard for it. I know from doing cooking at home for big family dinners that it can be hard work.  I know the raise was a nice addition. Again Congrats on the promotion.

Congrats on this wonderful occasion!  That's a nice pay increase!  Kitchen Manager....WOW!  You must be proud of that title.

Thank you all for the congrats!  My head is still spinning.  I heard throught the grapevine that I would be offered the postion possibly around the 1st of March...so this came as a shock.  I am so glad that things are working out.  I should have my insurance soon and I cross my fingers and pray ALLOT that I can (within the year) have the WLS.  Not getting too excited yet but...  I will have BC/BS and I believe that they have a weight surgery clause in their policys again BUT....

Thank you all again!  I love you all so much and I hope soon I will get back to posting.
