Got up early this morning after a night of fun with the family.  Baked a ham, then I cooked collards, black- eye peas with hogs jowls and made some smashed potatoes.  Everybody can eat when they want.  This is always a lazy day for us.  Yeah, I get up and cook then go to bed or get on the computer.

Oh I do love deer meat.  So lean and so good, especially the tenderloin.  I have found the crock pot is the best friend of deer meat.

We picked up a Honey Baked Ham and are having black-eyed peas and sweet potatoes with that.  No greens for anyone at our house (nobody eats them)...maybe broccoli just to say we ate something green...lol.  I am still full from everything I ate at Julie's last night to even think about eating yet.  Maybe later after the husband and MIL watch some football.
