Good morning and Merry Christmas Eve Eve.   HAHAHA!  This is your last day to shop.  If you gotta finish, you have today and that is it.  Thank goodness I am through!

Our challenge today is to know where you are going and what you want in life.  You may say it is a bit late because of your age.  Hogwash!  You may think this is a college age challenge.  NOT SO!  Even at our age, we need to know where we are going in life and what we want.  We need to always be ready for change and always know that when change comes, we should know where we are going when that change happens.  I have found myself many times thinking that I am "there".  I have found my calling, where I should be, and I am settled for life.  Not so.  I'm 42 and change has occurred many times, yet, I find myself seeing where I am going and knowing what to aim for.  You can do the same thing.  You may not have the bulls eye in sight, but you can have an idea of where you are heading and know what you want.

So, who's up?  What cha sippin' on this morning?  Me?  I am enjoying some awesome Swiss Colony Morning Blend.  The stuff surprises me.  It is really good!  You'd have to try it to believe it.  Knowing Swiss Colony, I shouldn't be surprised!

If you are traveling on this BUSIEST traveling day in America, PLEASE be careful.  Merry Christmas to all of you!!

Good morning Randall and the Bama Board.  I want to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  I probably won't be posting again until sometime next week.

Randy, I know what you mean about change coming around no matter how late in life.  Leo asked me the other day what I wanted to see us accomplish for the future.  I had to admit that I don't plan too far ahead.   I'm more of a live for today kind of person.  Leo didn't like my response.  He has our life all planned out and I know how he is.  If something happens to throw it off he'll get upset and aggitated.  Poor man!!  I know there are some things we do have to plan for like retirement, health issues, death but I can't say what I want to be doing in 5 years because I don't know what life is going to throw in my face so I think it's better to take it one day at a time and ask God to help me get through each day and to make a difference if possible.

Today is our last day at the office this week.  Tomorrow night we'll have Christmas with my side of the family and then Christmas day we will go to Leo's mom and dad's.  Christmas is so different without any kids in the house.  I miss the fun and excitement but then I have to remind myself what Christmas is all about.  I'll be alone Christmas morning and I'm going to read the Christmas story and spend some time in prayer and meditate on my life and what God has done for me.  I think it will be a memorable morning.

I stopped by Starbucks this morning.  A treat I rarely get these days.  Money is tight but I splurged.  I'm feeling good right now.  I don't have another treatment until Friday so that means I'm going to be able to enjoy being with my family this week.  GREAT!!!

I didn't mean to write so much.  I love you all and pray you have a wonderful and blessed Christmas.

I have to walk early in the morning, before my brain figures out what I'm doing.

  Good Morning all
Debbie Doo, you are right, once the kids are grown, the excitement seems to disappear.. it is sad!  I am glad you seem to be doing well!

Thanks for the challenge Randall..  I hope you and Lucy and the kids have a great Christmas!
