Nanci, two Italian girls and fat Bassett...
...I wanted to stop in and tell you that I'm up to the 3rd day...I couldnt' wait for the official Twelve days of Christmas...that would have been torture.
The day one Support our Troops ornament is great and will be a nice addition on our tree when I get it up this week.
My grandson's will love it because they have an uncle in the Army and he has served in Afghanistan and Iraq. Fortunately he is home for the holidays and will be station in Salt Lake City, Utah now.
Day two candle is one of my favorite scents and it will remind me to wish daily.
Day three, what an absolutely gorgeous box and then to find that beautiful ornament when I opened the box. All I can say is WOW! That intricate painting on the inside is amazing. I paint, it's been a while, but I can't imagine painting the inside of an ornament through that tiny opening in the top.
It will have a very special place on my tree also.
I can hardly wait 'til tomorrow...day four!!
My DH said I can't cheat and open it after midnight. I have to wait until I wake up in the morning. 
That will be one of the FIRST things I do! 
Thank you so much. This has been a blast for me, to see what is next. You have been such a wonderful secret pal. I paled by comparision.
Better get off here and try to get some rest for work tomorrow!!

Connie- I am so glad you are enjoying your 12 days of Christmas. I loved reading this post. I hope you enjoy each gift. We had so much fun picking stuff out. I meant what I said in your card, a rose among the thorns in life!

That hound dog is something else. She loves to walk across the floor and do a dramatic fall like she has been shot. That is her way of asking for a belly rub.
