Yep, I confirmed the news this morning but I'm not stacking up diapers just yet. I will not need them.  No new humans in this house, just LOTS of Angelfish!

The girls and I received a stocked aquarium last year from our sweet neighbor.  We have tried to breed the Angel fish but it never seems successful.  FINALLY, after reading tons of information and consulting with a professional.  WE DID IT!!!

Now we just have to keep them protected and separated from the rest.  Any experts out there on this?

Captain Ds, yummy!

Every creature in this house is special and loved! Even my worm collection from Southern Fisherman-they help compost my garbage and keep my garden productive!

I can forward you some fish food through the mail.  I have a big container for "pond" fish.  For some reason, my gold pond fish would live about two weeks and then die.  I have never figured out why.  I had plants in the water and it had a little fountain to keep the oxygen going. However, they still died.

Hi Karla! I would love that.  I have a pond in the front yard.  It contains a 6 yo turtle (Tobie) and about 8 goldfish.  The turtle was purchased when Sydney was a baby and it was the size of a quarter, it is now the size of my palm.  The goldfish were purchased at Petsmart about 1.5 years ago. They were those .12 cent feeders. Well, all of them are still alive and about the size of my middle finger.

In the back, I have a science "center"/ ecolab for the kids.  We have an unlimited amount of frogs that we raised from eggs/tads.  Not to mention the salamander (aka Hellbender) that has taken up home in the backyard pond.

What is so ironic about all this is they are not scared of the kids or me.  They actual come out and watch us as much as we watch them. It's like they know this is where they are suppose to live and we treat them as such.

So needless to say, I would love the food and I will pm my address to you.
Thanks so much,
Nanci
