Yes all of the drugs given to the cancer patients is usually expensive. Ask him to write you a script forthe phenergan 25 mg and try just taking a half. A tiny little bit might would help with the nausea. Phenergan should be cheaper.

Try Benadryl.  It is also used for nausea.  Mama took it as a stand-by during her chemo treatments when the standard meds didn't work.  It helped her nausea and the generic is very inexpensive.

I have Zofran, Phenergan (25mg Tablets and Supp. Form)
You can get it in the pill form -- and even the gel form!! The gel you put right on your wrist and it goes in the skin. It works well too!!

I swap with Zofran and Phenergan on bad days.. I can have something every 2 hours that way.

Phenergan comes in a generic and is cheaper.. Zofran as of right now has no generic. It will one day though.
