Really?  Splenda makes you dump?  I use the stuff all the time.  Have you tried any other artificial sweetners?  I tell ya, I will never get used to the dreaded dumping syndrome!  When I test my pouch, which I do all too often, and go into one of those fits, I just curl up and want to die.  My episodes are always rough.  Have been since day 1 !   There has to be something you can use.

my diet has become so blan. i hate to say it but i dump on alcohol and beer BUT it has made me cut down a lot from drinking. as far as food goes, even potatoes and other starches give me that light head feeling and i start to sweat really bad.
my doctor gave me a prescrip for zofran. anyone ever take that? he said it is given to cancer patients.

Hey Corn. I have used the zofran before. It does not make me as loopy as phenergan. It did help with the nausea. I still don't do rice and potatoes very well. After 5 years out it is still trial and error some days.

loopy as phenergan

Let me see, at our pajama party you can't have phenergan. Loretta can't have "you know what"   and I can't have anything stronger than a jelly bean.  Yep, that should keep us out of trouble as long as you keep the sunroof CLOSED

The next time we have a party we have got to include Cornnugget. She has me laughing so hard Bobby wanted to know what was going on. I will let her drive as I really don't like driving in a lot of traffic.
Do we have a deal Corn, that you will party with us?  There will be nothing stronger than sweet tea.

I have taken phenergan for dumping.  Puts me right to sleep!  I'm the same with alcohol as you - I was never much more than a social drinker anyway.  Now, one glass of wine sends me around the moon!

Compared to what I used to eat, my diet is rather bland too.  I was a meat and potatoes fan - now I eat SOOO much chicken I'm surprised I don't lay eggs!  Fish - sometimes.  The taste kind of throws me.  My DR had told me before surgery that my tastes would change.  He sure wasn't kidding!!!
