9 Month Check Up Today

Today I see Doctor Lane for my nine month checkup.  I think I may have lost about 10-15lbs since my six month checkup.  I hope so, even though he told me at my last appointment (at 80 lbs lost) that even if I didn't lose another pound, he still considered me a success.  I am now down to 160 (according to my scales...we'll have to see how my scales compare to his scales...which are definitely more accurate).  I am disappointed that my weight loss has slowed down so much, but at least I have FINALLY started exercising with KristiQ3 (thanks girl for dragging me to the rec center to work out...I would have never done it on my own).

I am going to ask today about getting B-12 injections rather than doing the sublingual B-12 lozenges.  Just a personal preference.  I used to give myself B-12 and allergy injections quite a few years back so I don't have any needle issues...lol.

I liked Dr.Lane better than i did Dr. snow . Dr Snow did my surgery and Dr. Lane saw me for my 2 week check up.Then i saw Dr. Winestine  when i got dehydrated and had to go back to hospital.I can count on one hand how many times i saw Dr. Snow. After 2 years i quit going back to Mobile so i haven't seen  my surgeon like i was suppose to.

My appointment went well...I am three lbs short of joining the Century Club though.  I did make my short-term goal of reaching 160 lbs by Thanksgiving.  My next goal is to make 100 lbs lost by Christmas.  Shouldn't be too hard.  But, Dr. Lane was pleased with my progress.

He agreed to let me do the B-12 injections monthly.  That was a relief.
