New to OH

I am new to this and also new to the area. I live in  the central part of the state and was trying to find a support group. Do any of you know of any in the Talladega area? I would be willing to drive some. I was told of this site by another gastric bypass person.

There are support groups in Anniston and Birmingham.

My adopted Momma lives in Lincoln. She is Carmen on the board, here.
I love Talladega! I am a NASCAR fan. So of course I've been there!

Thank you, Thank you. I was beginning to wonder if there were any local support groups. Can you tell me anything about them and when they might meet. I am less than 30 minutes from Anniston.

New Beginnings, WLS  Support Group
Will be meeting on November 18 at 6PM at the Tyler Center in Anniston. We are open to anyone if  you have had surgery, or who your doctor may be.

Ann runs the support group and I've heard great things. I love Dr. Freeman, the surgeon she works for! Louise A. also goes to the support group meetings there.
