I am thinking about making a career change into the medical field, particularly radiology technician.  What can y'all tell me about it.  Pay, pros, cons, everything.

Thanks,

Karen

Karen having worked as a nurse I have seen a lot of rad techs. Radiology Techs make good. You know that you might have to work nights, weekends and holidays. Now if you get into a doctors office that does x-rays you probaly would have better hours. If I remember correctly it used to be a 2 year program. I wish you the best. I absoutely loved nursing, I sure do miss it.

Seems like there is a high need in the medical field.  I don't know specifically in radiology, but it sounds like a lucrative field.  I checked online and salarys range from $40,000-$60,000.

Good luck!
