Super FRIDAY Coffee Talk

WOO HOO for Fridays!  Woo hoo for wives that get up and want to fix breakfast!  Lucy is fixing breakfast as I make coffee and do the talk.  I love this woman so much and I thank God for our lives together.  She treats me like a king, I treat her like a queen (cuz she is) HAHA! 

Do you have big plans for the weekend?  I hope MANY of you are planning to join us next Saturday for the Birmingham Dinner at PF Changs.  That's the 25 at 5 p.m. on the Summit off 280!  BE THERE!  HEHEHEHE

Our challenge for today is to do something special for someone you love.  This week has been about songs and about love, so today, instead of only telling them, show them.  There are MANY MANY ways we can show love.  Do something unique today and show some love.  Wanna join me in this challenge? 

So, who's up?  What cha sipping on?  Lucy and I are enjoying some wonderful Mayan Mocha Coffee from our bride and groom mugs!  Thanks again Gail.  We love them!  The stuff is awesome!  Only thing missing is YOU!  Lucy and I would LOVE to have you sitting here sipping a cup a joe with us!  We mean that too.

Gotta love having breakfast made in the morning...  LORD FORGIVE ME...  Just now my Randy said..  "Honey.. are we doing anything special on Sunday...?  I says NO, why....  Well it is our anniversary..."  OMGOsh...  I cant believe I forgot...  I am such a LOSER!!  LOL..

Better do something special for my honey bunch!!  Like make him breakfast on Sunday!!

Good morning my Pits and Grits gal!  We went through our gifts and found your grits and coffee.  We are sitting here talking now about having grits and coffee.  I'll make sure the pits are done too!  HA!

AWESOME challenge my friend.  I am so EXCITED about seeing everyone  on the 25th in Birmingham .. BUT TONIGHT Debbie & Jimmy will be singing tonight in Jasper...anyone interested check out my thread on the singing tonight. What a BLESSED night it is going to be my friend...for ALL that can make it!! Julie and I are going to a all day conference today it called "Lead Like Jesus" We are both so EXCITED about TODAY and TONIGHT..then Julie, Rosie & I are going to STARS support group meeting tomorrow. Then Sunday me and Julie will be at church.

We have so many of OUR Bama Board faily and friends that are struggling  in one way or another right now. Please keep them in your prayers as well as our Nation and it's leaders.

it is a FABULOUS FRIDAY. I actually got to sit and have coffee with my DH. Normally I drag out of bed after just a couple hours of sleep in time to get the grandsons taken care of and off to school so we dont get a chance to just sit and drink coffee together. Well I cant say I actually "sat" and drank it but we at least were in the same room. I have 8 loafs of banana bread in baking to be delivered at 8 on my way to my doctors appointment. also have apple butter finishing up.

GOOD MORNING MY FRIENDS!!!!!  John would absolutely faint if I got up before work and cooked breakfast...well he would faint if I cooked .  Well...I usually cook on the weekends, sometimes.  Sounds like you are gonna have a great day.  I know I am!!!  Love y'all!!!

Does it count that I get my husband's cereal bowl out and ready for him and pour his juice?  I even try to get him to let me cut up a banana for his cereal but he rarely lets me.  He does't like a full blown breakfast during the week, but I do try to cook something on weekends when we have more time.  But I do get up and make us some espresso.  Usually a double shot so only one cup is all we need.  I enjoy taking good care of my husband.  He's definitely my hero and deserves the special treatment (when he can get it...lol).

We are getting out granddaughter today for the weekend so this challenge will be easy.  Showing her love is one of the many things I live for!  I will also make an extra effort to do something extra nice for my MIL (who lives with us) to show our appreciation for all the many things she does for us.  She is a blessing and I love having her live with us.

Since I already had my espresso earlier, I need to get to sipping on my water intake for the day.  And think about having some grits and bacon for breakfast.  (yeah, I love my grits too).
